Job Description – Senior Pharmacist
Position: Senior Pharmacist
Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations efficiently and ensure smooth functioning.
- Dispense medicines accurately and ensure compliance with prescriptions and applicable regulations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, usage, storage, and basic customer guidance.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor medicine inventory, stock availability, expiry management, and proper storage conditions.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and statutory registers.
- Lead, guide, and support junior pharmacists and pharmacy staff.
- Train team members on pharmacy operations, customer service, medicine handling, and compliance.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and address customer queries professionally.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with management and other teams to achieve pharmacy operational and business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of medicines and pharmacy practices.
- Good understanding of pharmacy compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, organized, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage day-to-day operations.
