Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Web Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of web development technologies and a strong interest in learning and building modern, responsive websites and web applications.
The candidate will work closely with senior developers and designers to develop, maintain, test, and improve web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
- Work with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js as required.
- Assist in developing and integrating APIs and backend services.
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and improve website performance.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to implement UI/UX requirements.
- Test websites and applications across different browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Learn new technologies and contribute to improving development processes.
- Maintain technical documentation when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in web development; freshers with strong projects are welcome.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Basic knowledge of Node.js, PHP, Python, or another backend technology.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience with personal, academic, or freelance web development projects.
