About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI-Focused Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Engineering, AI/ML implementation, and Cloud Technologies, with a proven track record of building scalable data platforms and deploying AI-driven solutions in production environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data processing.
- Develop AI-powered solutions including intelligent automation, document processing, and chatbot applications.
- Deploy, integrate, and monitor AI/ML models in production environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Work with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern data architectures.
- Support data transformation, analytics, and reporting workflows.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Implement monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management practices for AI/ML solutions.
Required Skills & ExperienceData Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
- Extensive experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Expertise in large-scale data processing and distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and modern data architectures.
AI/ML & MLOps
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting AI/ML solutions in production.
- Experience integrating AI/ML models, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Understanding of MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions is highly desirable.
Cloud Platforms
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS.
- Experience with cloud-native data services and scalable architectures.
- Familiarity with security, governance, and performance optimization on cloud platforms.
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Azure AI Services / Azure OpenAI Services
- Kafka and real-time streaming data pipelines
- CI/CD implementation for Data and AI platforms
- Experience with AI/ML Ops and automation frameworks
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
