What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Shopify Stack Developer to lead and execute end-to-end Shopify store development and
integrations. This includes theme customization, app development, API integrations, performance
optimization, and building headless or React-based storefronts when required. The ideal candidate will
collaborate with cross-functional teams — including design, product, and marketing — to deliver
conversion-focused, high-performing eCommerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
❖ Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and
optimized UI/UX.
❖ Integrate third-party apps and APIs, and develop custom Shopify apps as needed.
❖ Work extensively on Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for advanced front-end
customization.
❖ Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and product management teams to deliver seamless user
experiences.
❖ Conduct regular performance analysis and code optimization to ensure site speed and efficiency.
❖ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to themes, apps, or integrations.
❖ Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and site performance across all storefronts.
❖ Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment planning to maintain development standards.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
❖ 3+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (themes, apps, Liquid).
❖ Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and modern front-end frameworks.
❖ Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and integration methods.
❖ Experience with Git version control and modern build workflows.
❖ Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
❖ Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
❖ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with distributed teams.
Preferred / Desirable Skills:
❖ Experience with Shopify Plus (Scripts, Launchpad, Flow).
❖ Experience building custom Shopify apps in TypeScript.
❖ Knowledge of serverless functions (Vercel, Netlify, AWS Lambda).
❖ Familiarity with analytics/debugging tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Sentry).
❖ Experience handling multi-currency/multi-language stores and internationalization.
❖ Understanding of GraphQL optimization, persisted queries, and caching strategies.
