Role Overview
A Mother Teacher is responsible for handling the overall development of primary grade students by creating a nurturing, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher acts as a mentor, guide, and caregiver while managing academic activities and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned subjects to primary grade students.
- Maintain a positive and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Monitor students’ academic performance and overall development.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.
- Maintain discipline and encourage good behavior among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Conduct assessments, homework checking, and report preparation.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Ensure safety and emotional well-being of students.
- Maintain attendance and classroom records properly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- B.Ed./NTT preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and ability to handle young children.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong classroom management skills.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in primary classes will be preferred.
Working Hours
As per school timings and policies.
