Job Description – PPC / Production Engineer
Position: PPC / Production Engineer
Department: Production Planning & Control

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely execution of production schedules.
- Plan production based on availability of HRC and CRC steel coils/sheets, machinery capacity, manpower, and material requirements.
- Maintain and monitor raw material inventory, production schedules, WIP, and finished goods.
- Prepare production reports, MIS, and daily performance reports using MS Excel.
- Track production targets versus actual output and identify production delays or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure optimum utilization of HRC/CRC steel.
- Maintain production-related records and documentation.
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, rejection, and production efficiency.
- Generate and analyze Excel-based reports using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, filters, and data analysis.
- Follow up with relevant departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in PPC / Production Planning in a steel, sheet metal, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
- Good practical knowledge of HRC and CRC steel, including material grades, thickness, dimensions, and consumption.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and production MIS.
- Good understanding of production planning, material planning, inventory control, and shop-floor coordination.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in PPC/Production, preferably in the HRC/CRC steel or sheet-metal manufacturing industry.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
