Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D/3D designs using CAD software.
Conduct engineering research to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and R&D.
Analyze design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and production requirements.
Create technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Perform simulations, testing, and validation of designs.
Support prototyping and oversee product development lifecycle.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (fabrication)
Knowledge of materials.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB) is a plus.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product design or manufacturing research.
Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Exposure to prototyping and testing methods.
