Job Title: Head – Contracts (Sports)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head – Contracts to lead contract governance, commercial contracting, and risk management for the Sports business. The role will drive standardization of contract templates, clause libraries, CLM adoption, and governance of high-value commercial contracts while partnering with Legal, Business, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract governance for high-value and strategic contracts.
- Develop and maintain standard contract templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks.
- Drive Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and digital contracting initiatives.
- Review, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Support complex contract negotiations and provide risk-based recommendations.
- Monitor contractual obligations, compliance, renewals, claims, variations, and dispute management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement through contract performance reviews and governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile:
- 15+ years of experience in Contracts, Commercial, or Legal functions.
- LLB is mandatory; LLM or Contract Management certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in Sports, Sports Media, Sports Marketing, Sports Event Management, Broadcasting, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong exposure to commercial contracts, contract governance, risk management, and CLM tools.
- Experience in managing contracts related to sports players, teams, leagues, federations, sponsorships, media rights, or commercial partnerships will be preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Pay: ₹5,000,000.00 - ₹6,000,000.00 per year
