About the Role Work as an Information Security technical team member reporting to the CISO, managing and maintaining technology and information security tools, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and driving security projects. The role involves handling tool compliance, log review, and incident handling, while also monitoring Key Risk Indicators. Success in this role means effective management of security tools, compliance, and projects, contributing to the overall information security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts from tools like SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS.
- Perform incident triage, analysis, containment, and escalation.
- Conduct threat hunting and IOC analysis to identify threats.
- Analyze phishing, malware, ransomware, and suspicious user activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus, Qualys, and Rapid7.
- Validate vulnerabilities, assess risks, and coordinate remediation with infra/app teams.
- Track remediation timelines and generate compliance reports.
- Prepare incident reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and security metrics.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and security best practices.
Requirements
- Manage and maintain NBAD technology and information security tools.
- Handle tool compliance and policy configuration.
- Ensure information security governance and regulatory compliance.
- Drive security projects and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Have 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Have 2+ years of experience specifically in cyber or network security.
- Have hands-on experience with SIEM tools and endpoint security (AV/EDR).
- Have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and security frameworks (ISMS, BCMS).
- Have experience in incident management and compliance.
- Have project management exposure.
- Have experience with vulnerability management tools.
- Have knowledge of regulatory guidelines in the NBFC context.
- Have experience with Sentinel SIEM and Cloud Technology.
