Job Summary
Hotel AK Suites, Patiala, is looking for a hardworking, responsible, and hygienic Kitchen Helper to support the kitchen team in daily food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, worktables, and storage areas.
- Help in receiving, arranging, and storing kitchen supplies properly.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper food storage practices.
- Assist in maintaining stock and inform the senior kitchen staff about shortages.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and hotel standards at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours, parties, and banquet functions.
- Perform any other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Chef or Management.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers who are willing to learn may also apply.
- Must be hardworking, punctual, disciplined, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food handling is preferred.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts as per hotel requirements.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Based on experience, skills, and interview.
- Food: Provided by the hotel as per company policy.
- Stay/Accommodation: Can be provided to candidates coming from a distant location, subject to company policy and availability.
