About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at our civil construction site in Nellore city. The role primarily involves managing material stock and ensuring smooth site operations. Accommodation and food will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily stock/material handling at the site
- Track incoming and outgoing materials (cement, steel, sand, aggregates, etc.) and maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure materials are stored properly and safely, minimizing wastage or damage
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely material delivery
- Report stock shortages or discrepancies to the site engineer/project manager
- Assist in planning material requirements based on project schedule
- Ensure labourers and workers follow basic safety practices while handling stock
- Maintain daily logs/registers of stock movement
- Support overall site coordination and report to the Site Engineer/Project Manager
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction site supervision or stock/material management preferred
- Basic understanding of construction materials and site operations
- Ability to maintain records (manual registers or basic digital tools)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to stay on-site (accommodation provided)
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
