- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Operate X-ray machines and other radiographic equipment.
- Follow physician instructions regarding the area of the body to be imaged.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
- Assist radiologists and other medical professionals in interpreting imaging results.
- Adhere to protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
