Job Summary
To test software code as per work allocated within the quality standards prescribed so as to meet the client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. To create & review the Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
2. To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases..
3. To contributes while test plans are developed as per the work assigned.
4. To track test coverage, defect density, other relevant metrics, and publish progress reports.
5. To coordinate with team (for discussions) and interact with client (for updates).
Skill Requirements
Python scripting/programming hands-on, Programming Logics.
Good understanding of automation frameworks using Python and knowledge of firewall will be an advantage.
L2/L3 Networking concepts. : OSI Layers, TCP/IP, 3 Way and 4 Way Handshake,
IP addressing and Subnetting, ARP, RARP, End to End Ping process
L3 Concepts: IPv4, Static Routing protocol, RIP Protocol, OSPF Protocol, MPLS, BGP
Additional skills : QoS, Multicast, IXIA Traffic generator, pyATS.
Hands-on experience on any tier1 networking vendors Switches and Routers like Cisco, Juniper, Dell, or Ericsson
Good understanding of the CI/CD SDLC
Should be independently contributing to the day-to-day activities
Good in attitude and communication
