About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Team Leader to manage and lead a team of Academic Counselors/Inside Sales Executives responsible for driving admissions for Online UG and PG programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a proven sales background, and the ability to motivate, guide, and coach a team to consistently achieve enrollment and revenue targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10–15 Academic Counselors/Admission Counselors.
- Monitor daily sales activities, call performance, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Allocate leads effectively and ensure timely lead engagement by team members.
- Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Drive team productivity and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
Sales & Admissions
- Support the team in counseling prospective students regarding Online UG and PG programs.
- Ensure effective handling of inquiries and lead conversion into enrollments.
- Assist team members in resolving complex customer queries and objections.
- Drive revenue generation and admissions through effective sales execution.
- Track conversion ratios and identify opportunities for improvement.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor key sales metrics such as lead conversion, enrollments, revenue, and counselor productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve results.
- Ensure adherence to sales processes and organizational guidelines.
Training & Coaching
- Train new joiners on products, sales processes, and counseling techniques.
- Conduct refresher sessions and share best sales practices.
- Continuously motivate and develop team members to improve performance.
CRM & Process Adherence
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of lead status in CRM.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth admission processing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Admissions, Business Development, or Education Sales.
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling a team of sales executives, counselors, or admission advisors.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, lead management, and conversion strategies.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
