We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to handle residential and commercial interior design projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing drawings and 3D designs, coordinating with clients, vendors and site teams, and ensuring execution as per approved designs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare 2D layouts, working drawings and detailed drawings.
- Create 3D views and interior design presentations.
- Select materials, colours, finishes, furniture and fixtures.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors and site engineers.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor execution.
- Ensure execution is as per approved drawings and designs.
- Prepare material specifications and quantity requirements.
- Coordinate for quotations and material selections with vendors.
- Check measurements and site dimensions.
- Resolve design and execution-related issues at site.
- Maintain project drawings, revisions and design documentation.
- Ensure projects are completed within the required timeline and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit / Lumion is preferred.
- Good knowledge of residential interior design.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes and furniture.
- Good knowledge of working drawings and site execution.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Good coordination with vendors and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Education:
Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
Experience:
1–4 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with strong design skills may also apply.
