An Inventory and Accountant, you will play a crucial role in tracking stock levels, managing vendor payments, and recording sales to ensure profitability. Responsibilities:
- Use barcode-integrated systems (such as Marg ERP or Tally) to automatically deduct items from your stock as they are scanned at checkout
- Stock shelves from the back so older perishable items are sold first, which reduces food waste and shrinkage
- Set minimum stock thresholds to receive alerts before popular items run out.
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Calculate COGS by tracking beginning inventory, purchases, and ending inventory.
- Vendor Reconciliation: Match supplier delivery challans (bills) against actual received goods and process payments.
- Daily Cash Drops: Reconcile the cash, UPI, and card collections of each billing counter at the end of every shift.
- Tax & GST Compliance: Maintain GST-compliant ledgers, accurately filing tax returns for local purchases and sales
- Knowledge in TallyPrime,ERP,Zoho Books
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 1 year of experience is required in accounting, cost control, or inventory management (often in manufacturing or retail).
