Area Sales OfficerJob Summary:**
The Area Sales Officer is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area for Piramal Pharma Limited. This role involves building strong customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring effective product promotion to drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Achieve assigned sales targets for a specific territory, covering a range of pharmaceutical products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies developed by the company to promote products effectively.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and address customer needs.
- Monitor competitor activities and report on market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights.
- Manage product distribution and ensure optimal stock levels with distributors and retailers.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and medical conferences as required.
- Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and product knowledge.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
