- Receive approved PO, drawings, and customer requirements from Purchase/Sales.
- Define manufacturing route, operation sequence, and machine allocation for each part.
- Assess monthly production capacity based on available machines, manpower, and working hours.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on capacity and delivery commitments.
- Issue job cards, route cards, and setup instructions to the shop floor.
- Plan and prioritize jobs to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase, and Maintenance for smooth execution.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, tooling, gauges, fixtures, and consumables before job release.
- Monitor production progress and resolve scheduling bottlenecks.
- Track machine utilization, capacity loading, and workforce productivity.
- Identify production constraints and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor schedule adherence and escalate delays to management.
- Coordinate inspection requirements and quality hold points during production.
- Maintain production planning records and generate production status reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, utilization, and delivery performance.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
- Prepare monthly capacity reports and compare available capacity against forecasted customer demand to support production planning and resource allocation.
