- Site Management: Allocate work assignments to painters, manage daily material stocks, and schedule operations around active scaffolding.
- Surface Preparation Verification: Inspect substrates to ensure masonry, concrete, drywall, or steel frames are completely cured, dry, sanded, and clean before any application.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate wet film thickness (WFT), dry film thickness (DFT), and overall color uniformity to meet the site engineer's exact design specifications.
- Scaffolding & Rigging Oversight: Enforce safety regulations for high-altitude exterior works, ensuring secure harnesses and stable aerial lifts.
- Environmental Control: Track temperature, humidity, and dew point on-site to verify proper curing conditions for external architectural paints.
- Structural Blueprints: Strong ability to read building layouts, structural plans, and surface layout legends
- Minimal Wastage: Maintaining exact material estimates with zero excessive paint or solvent losses.
- Zero Rework: Ensuring correct application on the first coat to prevent project delivery delays.
- Supervise and coordinate painting crews on job sites
- Inspect surfaces and prepare them for painting
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Order and manage painting materials and supplies
- Train and mentor new and existing team members
- Communicate with clients and project managers
- Maintain records of work progress and materials used
- Resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance
