Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Welcome shoppers, assess their needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Sales & Up-selling: Confidently demonstrate product features, compare options, up-sell premium items, and cross-sell complementary products.
- Target Achievement: Work proactively to hit individual and team sales quotas while following current retail trends.
- Store & Inventory Management: Maintain eye-catching merchandise displays, restock shelves, track inventory levels, and process returns or exchanges.
- Cash Handling: Operate POS systems accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and maintain a balanced register.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a relevant sales-driven environment.
- Education: High school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or retail management is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, active listening, and persuasive skills to build quick rapport with customers.
- Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with modern POS software, inventory tracking systems, and basic retail math.
- Flexibility: Availability to work varying retail hours, which often include weekends, holidays, and extended shifts during peak seasons.
