About the Role
We are looking for a Field Service Technician – Fresher to join our technical service team. The candidate will receive practical exposure and training in water treatment systems, cooling towers, chillers, boilers, RO systems, chemical dosing systems and water quality management.
The role involves visiting customer sites, assisting with equipment inspection, water testing, chemical dosing system maintenance, troubleshooting and service activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites for routine inspection, service and maintenance of water treatment systems.
- Assist senior technicians/engineers in servicing cooling towers, chillers, boilers and RO systems.
- Assist in installation, commissioning and maintenance of automatic chemical dosing and monitoring systems.
- Collect water samples from customer sites and assist with basic water quality testing and analysis.
- Assist in checking chemical dosing pumps, controllers, sensors, pipelines, valves and related equipment.
- Identify basic equipment/service issues and report technical problems to the senior engineer.
- Support chemical dosing adjustments as instructed by the technical team.
- Maintain proper service reports, water analysis reports, site visit records and customer feedback.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of water treatment chemicals while following safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally with customers during site visits.
- Travel to different customer locations as required for service assignments.
- Learn and follow company procedures for water treatment, technical service and treatment optimization.
Skills Required
- Willingness to learn water treatment technologies and field-service activities.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare basic service reports using MS Office.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a technical team.
