A Showroom Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth showroom operations. This role involves engaging with walk-in customers, understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and closing sales while maintaining strong brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
Greet and assist customers in the showroom.
Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products.
Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing.
Sales & Targets
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize sales.
Showroom Operations
Maintain product displays and ensure the showroom is well-organized.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams.
Handle billing, documentation, and order processing.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with clients.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and repeat customers.
Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on product features, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market demand.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree or diploma (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field).
1–3 years of experience in showroom/retail sales (Tiles, Sanitaryware, Furniture or similar industries).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing software).
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.
