JOB DESCRIPTION
· Position: Site Engineer (Civil)
Location: Puttur D K- 574201
Package: 4LPA to 6LPA 6LPA
1. Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, quality control, coordination, and ensuring timely completion of projects as per approved drawings and standards.
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Site Execution & Supervision
· Execute construction works as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications
· Supervise daily site activities including:
o Excavation, RCC, masonry, finishing works, etc.
· Ensure work is carried out as per quality and safety standards
2.2 Planning & Scheduling
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans
· Coordinate with contractor teams to meet deadlines
· Monitor progress and report delays to management
2.3 Quality Control
· Ensure all materials used comply with approved brands and IS standards
· Conduct stage-wise inspections
· Maintain quality checklists and records
· Identify and rectify defects
2.4 Coordination
· Coordinate with:
o Architects
o Structural consultants
o MEP teams (Electrical & Plumbing)
o Contractors and vendors
· Ensure proper sequencing of activities
2.5 Measurement & Billing
· Measure work quantities accurately
· Verify & Maintain bills & Vouchers
· Maintain site measurement records
2.6 Material Management
· Estimate and plan material requirements
· Monitor material consumption and wastage
· Ensure proper storage and handling at site
· Maintain Re-order Quantity cycle
2.7 Documentation & Reporting
o Daily site progress reports (DPR)
o Site registers
o Inspection reports
· Submit regular reports to project manager / management
2.8 Safety Management
· Ensure use of PPE by workers
· Maintain safe working conditions
· Report and manage site hazards
· Follow statutory and safety guidelines
2.9 Client Interaction (If Required)
· Coordinate site visits
· Provide progress updates to clients
· Handle basic site-related queries
· 3. Technical Skills Required
· Strong knowledge of:
o RCC construction
o Finishing works
o Residential building execution
· Ability to read and interpret:
o Architectural drawings
o Structural drawings
· Software:
o AutoCAD
o MS Excel / MS Project
4. Experience Requirements
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
· Experience in:
o Real estate projects (villas, apartments)
o Contractor or developer environment
· Proven experience handling full project lifecycle
5. Educational Qualification
· Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

· Reports to: Project Manager / Construction Head
