Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Hindi
Department: Middle & Secondary School (Classes VI–X)
Job Summary
A TGT Hindi teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to middle and secondary school students as per CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum. The role focuses on developing reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and literary appreciation skills in students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi to Classes VI–X:
- Hindi Grammar (व्याकरण)
- Prose (गद्य)
- Poetry (पद्य)
- Composition (लेखन कार्य: निबंध, पत्र, अनुच्छेद, संवाद आदि)
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and teaching materials.
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions to improve language fluency and comprehension.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, and speaking skills in Hindi.
- Evaluate assignments, notebooks, projects, and answer sheets regularly.
- Conduct tests, dictation, oral exams, and writing practice.
- Provide remedial support to weak students.
- Encourage Hindi speaking and language usage in daily communication.
- Use teaching aids like charts, stories, audio-visual tools, and smart boards.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Participate in PTMs, school events, competitions, and academic meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi (B.A. Hindi) or equivalent.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university (mandatory in most schools).
- CTET/TET (Paper II) preferred.
- Strong command over Hindi language (spoken and written).
Experience
- Fresher or 1–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Experience teaching CBSE/ICSE middle and secondary classes is an advantage.

- Organize Hindi debates, poetry recitation, essay writing, and dramatics.
- Encourage correct pronunciation and handwriting improvement.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and teaching methods.
