Loco Lane is looking for an experienced and highly driven Operations Manager to lead end-to-end venue operations across gaming, F&B, and guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, driving profitability, and maintaining exceptional service standards across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Overall Operations & Venue Management
- Oversee daily operations of the entire facility, including F&B, gaming zones, kitchen, and guest areas.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures across departments.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and overall ambiance.
- Manage facility maintenance, utilities, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and brand standards.
Food & Beverage (F&B) & Kitchen Management
- Oversee complete F&B operations, including kitchen, service, and bar.
- Ensure efficient kitchen workflow, food quality, and timely service delivery.
- Monitor menu execution, food presentation, and service standards.
- Track stock levels, consumption, and wastage.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with chefs and F&B teams on demand forecasting and menu optimization.
Cost Optimization, Inventory Control & Procurement
- Control operational costs across kitchen, staffing, gaming, and utilities.
- Monitor inventory for gaming supplies, food, beverages, and consumables.
- Reduce wastage and improve efficiency through process improvements.
- Track and optimize cost of goods sold (COGS) and operational expenses.
- Manage procurement, vendor coordination, and cost-effective sourcing.
- Ensure efficient stock planning, reorder levels, and vendor negotiations.
Sales, Marketing & Revenue Generation
- Drive revenue through walk-ins, events, and group bookings.
- Plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and seasonal offers.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for digital and on-ground initiatives.
- Develop strategies to increase footfall and customer retention.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across F&B and gaming.
Party Bookings & Event Management
- Manage end-to-end execution of parties, corporate events, and group bookings.
- Ensure seamless coordination across operations, kitchen, and service teams.
- Deliver high-quality experiences for events and celebrations.
- Customize offerings based on customer requirements and group size.
Guest Experience & Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure exceptional guest experience across all touchpoints.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations effectively.
- Monitor feedback, reviews, and satisfaction metrics.
- Maintain a vibrant, welcoming, and engaging environment.
- Implement service recovery strategies where required.
Team Management & Staff Optimization
- Hire, train, and supervise staff across all departments.
- Plan staffing schedules, shifts, and workforce allocation.
- Monitor staff performance, productivity, and service standards.
- Conduct training on operations, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Optimize labor costs and workforce efficiency.
Financial & P&L Management
- Own and manage the overall Profit & Loss (P&L) of the venue.
- Track revenue, expenses, margins, and profitability.
- Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure revenue targets and cost benchmarks are consistently met.
- Drive operational efficiency to improve bottom-line performance.
Licensing, Compliance & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure all required licenses and regulatory compliances are maintained.
- Liaise with government authorities, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation related to safety, food compliance, and operations.
- Ensure adherence to local laws and operational standards.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports.
- Track KPIs across F&B, gaming, customer experience, and staffing.
- Use data-driven insights for decision-making and improvements.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and audits.
Game & Entertainment Operations
- Supervise all gaming activities, including bowling and attractions.
- Ensure all machines and equipment are fully functional and maintained.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with technical teams/vendors.
- Monitor game performance, uptime, and customer engagement.
- Ensure safety protocols and guest briefings are followed across all zones.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience in operations management within entertainment, hospitality, or F&B industries.
- Strong exposure to multi-department operations (F&B + service + gaming).
- Proven experience in team management, cost control, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong operational, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
