Job Description: Biomedical Engineer (EECP Service Specialist)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the maintenance and servicing of Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP) equipment. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the flexibility to travel as needed to meet service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance:
- Install EECP systems at client locations, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Calibrate and test equipment periodically to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Technical Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Conduct user training sessions for clinic staff on equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of installations, service visits, and maintenance activities.
- Submit timely service reports to the management team.
- Travel:
- Be available to travel to client sites as required, ensuring minimal downtime for equipment.
- Coordinate travel schedules efficiently to accommodate service needs.
- Customer Interaction:
- Build positive relationships with clients by delivering excellent service.
- Address client concerns professionally and escalate complex issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment (experience with EECP machines is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in understanding technical manuals and troubleshooting guides.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel as per service requirements.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate independently on field visits.
