Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and procure food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
- Develop alternate supplier networks to minimize supply risks.
2. Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations based on quality, pricing, and delivery.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, or delays.
- Ensure supplier compliance with food safety and quality standards.
3. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
- Coordinate with stores, warehouse, kitchen, and operations teams for demand planning.
- Analyze food cost, purchase trends, and consumption patterns.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
4. Purchase Operations
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
5. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure purchased products meet company quality standards.
- Verify supplier certifications and food safety compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
- Support implementation of HACCP, FSSAI, and other regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 5–10 years of procurement/purchasing experience in the Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Restaurant, QSR, or FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of inventory management, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
