Business Development Manager- Biometric authentication Hardware solutions Digital payments
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the BFSI segment, driving strategic partnerships, and managing key client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of fintech hardware solutions and a strong network within banks, NBFCs, Payment service providers, and government financial inclusion programs
Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify acquire new business opportunities in the BFSI, Government insurance domain
2. Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in banks, NBFCs, MFIs, Cooperative Banks, RRBs and financial institutions
3. Present and promote hardware solutions such as biometric devices, thermal printers, Identity devices and micro banking terminals
4. Lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting and proposal creation to negotiation and closure
5. Collaborate with product and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements
6. Track market trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies in the digital banking hardware space
7. Participate in RFP/RFQs processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
8. Prepare monthly business forecasts, reports and strategic sales plans
Required skills qualifications:
7–8 years of experience in sales or business development in the Fintech / BFSI hardware / Banking technology sector
Proven experience dealing with banks, financial institutions, or government-led digital payment/authentication projects
Strong understanding of biometric devices, KYC hardware, PoS systems, face scanners, and micro-banking terminals
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle large clients.
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain product specifications.
- Bachelor/Master degree in Business, or a related field
