We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales, client acquisition, market expansion, and team performance across the assigned territory.
This is a high-impact managerial role focused on revenue generation, business growth, sales strategy, and team leadership. The ideal candidate should be capable of building business directly, managing a sales team, developing market opportunities, and driving consistent regional performance.
This role carries strong ownership and requires someone who can lead from the front while also building and managing a performance-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business acquisition through direct sales, references, networking, field activity, and relationship-building
- Generate revenue by acquiring and activating new clients across company products and services
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Identify new business opportunities and untapped market segments
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and conversions
- Personally contribute to revenue generation and business closure
Business Development
- Promote and expand the company’s business presence across the assigned region
- Build relationships with investors, traders, professionals, business owners, and potential partners
- Create new customer acquisition channels and local business opportunities
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, business discussions, and market outreach activities
- Support branch-level and regional-level business growth initiatives
Product Sales & Cross-Selling
- Drive sales across the company’s financial and investment-related products
- Cross-sell and upsell suitable offerings based on customer requirements
- Ensure effective promotion of all core products and business verticals
- Maximize customer value through relationship-based business development
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of the assigned sales / business development team
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly activity and revenue targets for the team
- Train, motivate, and mentor team members to improve productivity and conversion
- Build a high-performance, target-oriented, and disciplined team culture
- Conduct regular reviews and performance tracking with the team
- Ensure accountability, consistency, and execution excellence across the team
Market Development & Reporting
- Track local market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity
- Identify opportunities for expansion in the assigned geography
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and customer servicing
- Prepare and report sales performance, business pipeline, and team progress to management
- Support strategic growth planning based on market insights and field feedback
Eligibility Criteria
- Male & Female candidates can apply
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / Client Acquisition
- Prior experience in Stock Broking / Financial Services / Banking / Wealth / Insurance / Investment-related sales preferred
- Candidates with team handling / leadership experience will be strongly preferred
- Strong local market understanding and business development capability required
- Ability to independently generate business and lead a team effectively
- Good communication, leadership, negotiation, and target management skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing / Finance / Business will be an added advantage
- Strong exposure to sales, business development, field work, and relationship management
- Candidates with an existing network in the financial / investor / business community will have a strong advantage
- Passion for sales growth, team building, and business expansion is essential
Experience 3 – 7 years
- Candidates with proven team handling and target achievement experience will be given preference
Salary & Benefits
- ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (Based on experience and capability)
