We are a men’s wear garment manufacturing company operating entirely through job workers (outsourced production). We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who can manage end-to-end production activities, coordinate with multiple job workers, and ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of garment production processes, vendor/job worker management, and production planning in an outsourced manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete production process from order receipt to final dispatch through job workers
- Coordinate and monitor job workers for cutting, stitching, washing, finishing, and packing
- Plan and control production schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Ensure quality standards are maintained at all stages of production
- Monitor fabric, trims, and accessory availability as per production plan
- Conduct regular follow-ups with job workers for output, efficiency, and timelines
- Resolve production-related issues such as delays, rejections, and quality concerns
- Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams
- Maintain daily production reports, WIP status, and MIS
- Ensure compliance with company quality and production standards
- Control production costs and minimize wastage and rework
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of men’s wears garment construction and production processes
- Experience in handling outsourced production / job work model
- Good knowledge of fabrics, trims, stitching, finishing, and packing
- Ability to manage multiple job workers simultaneously
- Strong planning, follow-up, and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of quality control standards in garments
- Proficient in MS Excel and production tracking reports
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
