Job Title: SAP Account Management Administrator (m/f/d)Location: WACKER Excellence Hub India, PuneCompany: Wacker Chemie AGDepartment: IT-Business Application - Platform Operation & Authorization ServicesReporting To: Project Manager / Team LeadEmployment Type: Full timeJob Purpose: WACKER is looking for a hands-on SAP Account Management Administrator to focus on the secure, compliant, and efficient administration of SAP user accounts and authorizations across multiple SAP systems.It supports global business operations by executing end‑to‑end user lifecycle processes, administer role structures, ensuring audit‑ready documentation, and contributing to high‑quality Access Management in a validated (GxP) environment.Key Responsibilities: Create, modify, deactivate and manage SAP user accounts across multi‑system landscapesAssign and remove SAP standard roles, business roles and leading roles according to global templates (EMEA, AMERICA, ASIA)Execute role‑ and authorization‑related workflows using SAP Role Tool (SRT)Maintain relevant SAP authorization tables for role mapping and lifecycle processesProcess user lifecycle processes, incl. IDM access requests, job changes, special approvals and create sub‑requests where requiredEvaluate requests for correctness, compliance and completeness before executionCoordinate and clarify authorization topics with specialists, module owners and consulting groupsResolve authorization issues, analyze Segregation‑of‑Duties (SoD) conflicts and provide compliant solutionsEnsure adherence to GxP, SoD, critical role restrictions and audit requirementsMaintain accurate, traceable documentation in SAP Role Tool and ServiceNowEnsure closure of requests and tickets within defined SLA timelinesSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation, logs and approval evidenceMonitor compliance deviations, escalate when required and propose corrective actionsProvide end-to-end business support for SAP authorizations, incl. role issues and error handlingSupport SAP Authorization Administrators in cross‑functional access topicsSupport in SAP projects related to SAP authorization activities (e.g. mass updates for new roles, integrating new plants, …)Qualification: > 5 years of experience in SAP User & Authorization Management (UAM)Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP UAM tools & transactionsExperience with SAP Role Tool workflows (creation, leading role handling, approvals, status updates, …)Good understanding of standard role structures and global business role templatesExperience working in validated GxP SAP environments, including structured documentation and change controlPractical experience with ServiceNow for ticket and request handlingAbility to interpret IDM access requests and process sub‑requestsUnderstanding of SoDs and compliance‑required role mappingStrong accuracy and attention to detail with a zero‑defect mindsetStrong communication skills in English; German language skills highly beneficialAbility to organize, prioritize and process time‑critical requests under pressureCustomer‑centric attitude,clear communication style and structured documentation
Key Responsibilities
1. To analyze |define and design technical solution for ERP productâs enhancement and work towards continuous improvement during product implementation and production support stages.
2. To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs and act as a primary point of contact for addressing complex technical issues.
3. To collaborate and interact with the client and other cross functional teams for gaining understanding of the requirements so as to deliver seamless technical solutions.
4. To anchor team meetings ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination within the technical consultant team and the clients.
5. To mentor and train junior consultants, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
