Prepare Electrical & Low Voltage drawings, SLD’s, components, or systems for residential, commercial, industrial, or utility use.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare detail drawings, space planning, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints based on specifications provided by engineers or project managers. These drawings may include floor plans, wiring diagrams, electrical panel layouts and equipment installations using computer aided design (CAD) Software.
2. Prepare low voltage drawings – Fire detection, public address, CCTV, Access control layouts.
3. Prepare DB Single line diagrams, Panel SLDs, external electrical trench routes, external lighting layouts, HT/LT Panel/UPS equipment space planning, Transformer/DG Set space planning as per industry standards and codes.
4. Preparation of detailed layouts including lighting and power conduiting, cable tray/Raceways UPS/Emergency conduit.
5. Conduct site visit and surveys to gather data for drafting accurate layout and design.
6. Generating take of sheets, wiring schedules to accompany drawings and facilitate the construction and installation process.
7. Ensuring all drawings and electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
8. Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, project managers and other stakeholders to understand the project requirements, provide technical support and incorporate design changes as necessary.
9. Identifying and resolving design issues, conflicts and discrepancies through careful analysis and coordination with project team.
10. Managing and maintaining a database of drawings, revisions, and documentation to ensure version control and traceability throughout the project cycle.
11. Creating as-built drawings to accurately reflect the final configuration and layout of electrical systems and construction or installation is completed.
12. Maintain a high level of integrity and discipline with a strong work ethic.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Proficient in Auto CAD and or relevant software.
2. Proficient in 3D Modelling and or relevant software.
3. Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral and written.
4. Skilled in PC Usage and associated software including Microsoft Office & Excel.
5. Able to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications.
6. Familiar with design parameters related to electrical material.
7. Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures.
8. Able to work with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must have knowledge of drafting and experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
10th Class & 12th Class passing Certificates.
Minimum requirement - Diploma in Electrical from ITI College/B. Tech Electrical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with the following software packages is desirable: AUTOCAD 2D, 3D Modelling in Revit of atleast 5 years.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
