As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone to lead the operational side of our workshop and help build efficient systems that support high-quality production.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day functioning of our furniture manufacturing workshop. This role is responsible for ensuring projects move seamlessly from design handover through production and dispatch, while maintaining timelines, quality, and operational efficiency.
Working closely with our design, production, procurement, and installation teams, you will be responsible for planning workflows, managing resources, coordinating vendors, and improving internal systems that enable the workshop to function smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workshop and production operations.
- Plan production schedules and monitor project timelines.
- Coordinate between design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
- Manage procurement of materials and hardware.
- Develop relationships with vendors and logistics partners.
- Monitor inventory and optimize stock management.
- Implement and improve operational systems and SOPs.
- Identify production bottlenecks and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Track quality, timelines, and workflow across departments.
- Lead project planning meetings and production reviews.
- Coordinate dispatches and installations.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency.
We're looking for someone who
- Has at least 5 years of operations experience.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing, interiors, woodworking, architecture, construction, or a similar production environment.
- Is an excellent planner and problem solver.
- Has strong leadership and people management skills.
- Is comfortable working closely with craftsmen and workshop teams.
- Can build processes while remaining flexible in a custom-production environment.
- Has strong communication and organizational skills.
Please note: This is an operational leadership role. Responsibility for craftsmanship and technical execution remains with the Production Manager.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
