Position: Accounts & Finance - Intern
Overview
We at MISSAN are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Interns to join our Team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial record management, and business reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with our accounting professionals to support day-to-day financial activities, enhance analytical skills, and develop a solid foundation in corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Support the preparation and verification of invoices, receipts, and expense documents.
- Help in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Participate in monthly reconciliations of bank statements and vendor accounts.
- Contribute to preparing financial summaries and reports for internal review.
Compliance & Documentation
- Support the maintenance of proper documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
- Help organize and archive accounting files, statements, and supporting documents.
Learning & Development
- Gain exposure to accounting software and enterprise systems.
- Learn practical applications of accounting principles, taxation basics, and financial reporting.
- Work under the supervision of experienced accountants and finance professionals.
- Participate in real-world business operations and internal audits.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Educational Background
- Currently pursuing the final year of, or recently graduated from, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- Good academic standing at current educational institution.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for financial data management.
- Knowledge of Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GST, VAT, and financial compliance procedures is desirable.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English (Required).
