The P&M Engineer directs the mechanical operations, procurement, deployment, and servicing of all construction plants and heavy machinery. The goal is to maximize machine availability and minimize costly downtime on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for all equipment.
- Equipment Management: Oversee major machinery like concrete batching plants, tower cranes, excavators, transit mixers, and road pavers.
- Deployment & Coordination: Work with project and site teams to mobilize, install, and commission machinery where needed.
- Inventory & Procurement: Manage the stock of spare parts, tools, lubricants, and consumables. Coordinate vendor repairs and purchase new parts.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all machinery complies with statutory and environmental safety rules
- Record Keeping: Track machine performance, fuel usage, repair history, and maintenance costs. Prepare daily and monthly management reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or B.Tech in Mechanical
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in equipment management within the infrastructure or construction sector.
- Key Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, cost control, team leadership, and vendor management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
