Job Summary
Avodha Edutech is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Medical Coding Tutor to join our team in Kottayam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and mentoring students in medical coding concepts, preparing them for industry requirements, and helping them build successful careers in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on medical coding.
- Teach ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and related concepts.
- Provide practical examples, case studies, and coding exercises.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and evaluations.
- Clarify student doubts and provide academic support.
- Monitor student progress and maintain training records.
- Stay updated with current medical coding standards and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve course content and training quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical coding concepts.
- Prior teaching, training, or medical coding experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide students effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with online learning tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Medical Coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Experience in healthcare documentation or medical coding training.
