Job Title: Sous Chef – Continental Cuisine
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef specializing in continental cuisine to support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities
- Prepare and present high-quality continental dishes in line with menu standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during service
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Help in menu development and introducing new continental dishes
- Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in continental cuisine
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in continental cuisine

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
