Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Maintenance & Production to oversee plant production and maintenance operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe functioning of the dairy plant. Candidates with experience in liquid-processing industries such as dairy, beverages, water treatment, liquor, food processing, or similar industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth operation and maximum availability of all plant machinery and utilities.
- Lead preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and reduce machine downtime.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Electrical, Utility and other departments for uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure proper functioning of utilities such as boilers, chillers, refrigeration, compressors, pumps, water treatment systems, ETP and other process equipment.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, quality and statutory requirements.
- Manage manpower, shift planning and allocation for production and maintenance activities.
- Monitor consumption and efficiency of power, steam, water and other utilities.
- Support installation, commissioning and performance evaluation of new machinery.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance, breakdowns, spares and production performance.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for technical support and equipment maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry.
- Experience in Dairy, Beverage, Water Treatment, Liquor, Food Processing or other liquid-processing industries will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, production operations and plant utilities.
- Experience in handling 24×7 plant operations and shift-based teams will be an advantage.
- Good leadership, problem-solving and team-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage production and maintenance operations and take quick technical decisions.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
