Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to take ownership of website development, technical troubleshooting, deployments, integrations, and infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of technologies and client projects, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress, including themes, plugins, security, and migrations.
- Implement and manage content models and APIs using Sanity CMS.
- Build and optimize web applications using Next.js and React, focusing on performance and integrations.
- Manage website deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting on Vercel.
- Oversee hosting, server setup, migrations, and backup/restoration processes.
- Manage domain names, DNS records, and SSL certificates.
- Configure and troubleshoot Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 email infrastructure.
- Utilize Git/GitHub for version control and deployment workflows.
- Integrate various third-party services such as CRMs, payment gateways, and analytics platforms via APIs and webhooks.
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including redirects, metadata, and schema markup.
- Ensure website security through SSL implementation, regular updates, and vulnerability management.
- Leverage AI development tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Estimate tasks, document solutions, and provide guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Skills: WordPress development (themes, plugins), Sanity CMS (schemas, GROQ, APIs), Next.js/React development, Vercel deployments, Hosting & Server management, Domains & DNS management, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 administration, Git/GitHub, API integrations, Technical SEO, Website Security, AI Development Tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, ability to work independently, ownership mentality, excellent communication skills, ability to guide junior developers, adaptability to new technologies.
