Key Responsibilities
- Install cold storage rooms, refrigeration units, and insulated PUF panels.
- Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping, and control panels.
- Charge refrigerant gases (R404A, R407C, R410A, etc.).
- Test systems for gas leakage and repair leaks.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and system performance.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
- Replace faulty components such as compressors, expansion valves, contactors, sensors, and fan motors.
- Maintain service reports and maintenance records.
- Follow safety procedures while handling refrigerants and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate with project engineers during installation and commissioning.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles and HVAC systems.
- Experience with scroll, reciprocating, and screw compressors.
- Ability to read refrigeration piping and electrical drawings.
- Refrigerant charging, recovery, and vacuuming.
- Brazing and copper pipe installation.
- Electrical troubleshooting (single-phase and three-phase).
- PLC and temperature controller knowledge is an advantage.
- Understanding of food cold storage temperature requirements.
Qualifications
- ITI (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) / Diploma in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in cold storage or industrial refrigeration.
- Experience with Freon refrigeration systems is preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
