- Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating front-of-house staff to ensure high-quality customer service and a positive work environment.
- Customer Experience: Greeting guests, managing reservations, seating customers efficiently, and resolving guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Operational Oversight: Monitoring daily operations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring smooth workflow between the dining room and kitchen.
- Inventory and Costs: Monitoring food and beverage inventory levels, controlling operational costs, and managing waste to maximize revenue.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and maintaining food safety procedures.
- Communication: Liaising with kitchen staff and other managers to address any issues, concerns, or ideas to improve overall restaurant performance.
