The Opportunity
DreamFirm is looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant to lead the Internal Review function for our Accounting Operations. The role involves reviewing the work of the accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy and statutory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous process improvements. This is an Internal Leadership role with no Direct Client Interaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Review books of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the accounting team.
· Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures with high standards of accuracy and compliance.
· Review GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances before filing.
· Monitor internal deliverables and coordinate with the Accounting, Compliance, Tax, and Payroll teams.
· Identify discrepancies, recommend corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
· Review MIS reports and support statutory, tax, and internal audits.
· Mentor junior team members and maintain quality standards across all assignments.
· Work extensively on Zoho Books and other accounting software.
Qualifications
· Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
· 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
· Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
· Experience reviewing books of accounts prepared by accounting teams.
· Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or similar cloud-based accounting software is preferred.
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
