Team Overview
The Risk and Assurance team is part of the EMEA Work Dynamics (WD) Finance function. The team enhances and protects WD assets, reputation, and sustainability by delivering independent assurance, strengthening governance, and driving continuous improvement across risk management, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
Role Summary
The Risk and Assurance Manager leads and oversees Risk and Assurance activities across EMEA Work Dynamics businesses and accounts. The role ensures compliance with Business Unit risk management and internal control frameworks, provides independent challenge, and partners with senior stakeholders to mitigate risk and improve operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously enhance the WD internal control framework across EMEA.
Plan, lead, and oversee control self-assessments and risk assessments across EMEA markets and key accounts.
Consolidate, analyze, and interpret risk and control assessment results.
Prepare executive-level reports and presentations with clear insights and recommendations.
Present findings, risks, and improvement actions to senior management and key stakeholders.
Lead independent monitoring and detailed testing based on the provided evidence.
Identify control deficiencies, assess root causes, and define remediation plans.
Track and manage remediation actions (via CAPA tracker) with accountable stakeholders.
Maintain and govern the Central Repository of Policies and Procedures, including review cycles and updates.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of risks and controls, also in the MetricStream GRC system.
Oversee E1 PO and Corrigo WO threshold guidance, including exception review and recommendations.
Ensure completion of annual E1 PO and Corrigo WO account certifications.
Lead and deliver Risk and Assurance training initiatives across EMEA WD.
Act as the primary SPOC for Risk and Assurance activities within WD.
Collaborate with JLL-wide Risk, Compliance, ERM, and Accounting Compliance teams.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CA, CMA, MBA or related professional certifications in finance discipline or equivalent.
8-12 years of experience in a similar position, working with international teams & clients.
Demonstrates integrity and strong professional ethics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and documentation.
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, or compliance.
People management or project leadership experience preferred.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, JLLGPT, and JLL Report Craft.
Knowledge of E1, Corrigo, and People Soft is an advantage.
