Position: Grain Material Handling System Design Engineer
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Location: Coimbatore
Job Summary
We are seeking a Grain Material Handling System Design Engineer to design and develop grain handling equipment and systems, including conveyors, bucket elevators, storage silos, and material flow solutions. The candidate should have experience in engineering design, equipment selection, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design grain material handling systems and equipment.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform equipment sizing and capacity calculations.
- Design conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, and storage systems.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams.
- Ensure designs comply with safety and industry standards.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks/Inventor.
- Knowledge of grain handling equipment and bulk material flow.
- Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in grain processing plants, rice mills, feed mills, flour mills, or bulk material handling projects.
- Knowledge of pneumatic conveying systems is an added advantage.
