We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Computer Science Faculty member to deliver high-quality instruction in Computer Science and Information Technology. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students for academic and career success. Faculty in many higher education institutions are also expected to contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical lab sessions for undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
- Teach core Computer Science subjects such as:
- Programming (C, C++, Java, Python)
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- Operating Systems
- Computer Networks
- Software Engineering
- Web Development
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (preferred)
- Cyber Security (preferred)
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate students through examinations, projects, presentations, and practical assessments.
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, and research activities.
- Mentor students for placements, hackathons, coding competitions, and career development.
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and reports.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and departmental meetings.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- NET/SET or Ph.D. preferred for university positions.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Freshers with excellent academic records and strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong programming knowledge (C, C++, Java, Python).
- Good understanding of databases, networking, operating systems, and software engineering.
- Familiarity with AI/ML, Cloud Computing, or Cyber Security is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, LMS platforms, and online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
Pay: ₹9,824.19 - ₹53,795.76 per month
