Sun Merchandising Services is a global buying house specializing in sourcing and product development for retailers, importers, wholesalers, and brands worldwide. We work with a wide range of products including home goods, textiles, packaging, promotional products, accessories, baby products, lifestyle items, and more, connecting international buyers with reliable manufacturing partners.
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our global customer base by reaching out to prospective clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective customers globally, including:
- Retailers
- Importers
- E-commerce brands
- Wholesalers
- Private label brands
- Distributors
- Conduct outbound sales outreach through:
- Cold calling
- Email campaigns
- LinkedIn networking
- Follow-ups and lead nurturing
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings with potential buyers.
- Introduce Sun Merchandising Services’ sourcing capabilities and product categories to prospective clients.
- Understand customer sourcing requirements and communicate them internally to the merchandising and sourcing teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international buyers.
- Maintain CRM records and track sales activities, leads, and customer communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support quotations, sampling, and customer onboarding.
- Achieve monthly lead generation and business development targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or international sourcing preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong confidence in cold calling and emailing international customers.
- Ability to research and identify potential clients across different countries and industries.
- Familiarity with sourcing, buying houses, manufacturing, or import/export industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-oriented.
- Experience using LinkedIn, CRM tools, Excel, and email marketing platforms is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
