The Role:
We're looking for a Fund Operations Analyst to own the back-office finance, compliance, and investor operations engine of the fund. You'll work closely with the VP — Finance to manage fund accounting, regulatory filings, treasury, and investor relations as our portfolio and fund structure grow.
This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role — not advisory, not deal-side. You'll be the person making sure the fund's financial and investor operations run cleanly and on time.
What You'll Do:
- Fund Accounting & NAV: Maintain books of accounts for the AIF, compute NAV, prepare financial statements, and manage fund-level reconciliations (bank, demat, custodian).
- Regulatory Compliance: Handle SEBI AIF filings, RBI reporting, and other statutory obligations. Stay current with regulatory changes affecting Category II AIFs.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Manage capital call drawdowns, LP distributions, fund-level liquidity planning, and banking operations.
- Investor Operations: Own investor onboarding (KYC, documentation, subscription agreements), investor communication, and ongoing investor relations support — ensuring LPs have timely, accurate information.
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or fund administration — specifically with Indian AIFs (Category II preferred) or PMS structures.
- Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter/IPCC), CMA, or MBA Finance — not a fully qualified CA.
- Hands-on experience with NAV calculation, demat reconciliation, SEBI/RBI filings, capital calls, and distributions.
- Experience with investor onboarding, investor communication, and LP reporting.
- Background at an Indian fund administrator (Orbis, Basiz, KFin, Kalpa Prisha, CAMS), a VC/PE fund's operations team, or an NBFC treasury function.
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team where you own your function end-to-end.
- Notice period: 1 month or less.
Why Join Us:
- Be part of India's energy transition story — our portfolio companies are building real hardware and software that India needs at scale.
- Work directly with experienced fund professionals (not a large corporate hierarchy).
- High ownership from day one — you'll own the fund's financial and investor operations, not be a cog in a machine.
- Bengaluru-based, in-office team that values depth, precision, and intellectual honesty.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
