Sobha Ltd. is hiring experienced BIM MEP Modeler Engineers for Commercial and Residential Building projects.
Job Details
- Position: BIM MEP Modeler Engineer
- Experience: 2–5 Years
- Location: Sobha Corporate Head Office, Bengaluru
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- BIM Model Creation & Management
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) systems using industry-standard BIM software.
Interdisciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate MEPF systems into overall building models.
Clash Detection & Resolution
- Perform clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks and other BIM coordination tools.
- Identify, analyse, and resolve design conflicts during project execution.
- Generate clash reports and support coordination meetings.
BIM Standards & Content Development
- Create and maintain BIM standards, templates, Revit families, and content libraries for MEP disciplines.
- Support implementation of BIM protocols and execution plans.
Drawing & Model Production
- Prepare and review:
- Concept Drawings
- GFC Drawings
- Shop Drawings
- Fabrication Models
- As-Built Models
BIM Data & Quantity Extraction
- Support quantity take-offs and cost estimation using BIM data extraction methods.
Technical Support & Training
- Provide technical support for BIM software and workflows.
- Assist project teams with BIM modelling standards and troubleshooting.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare reports and documentation for approvals, coordination meetings, and project tracking.
RequirementsEducation
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant BIM MEP modelling experience.
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience in:
- Autodesk Revit
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks
Additional Requirements
- Candidate should be willing to work onsite.
- Candidate must be available for one round of Face-to-Face interview.
