Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Managing Existing Customers
- Maintain Regular Contact: Keep in touch with our current factory clients, maintenance managers, and purchase teams through phone calls, messages, and regular site visits.
- Secure Repeat Orders: Check on their current inventory to secure recurring orders for replacement parts, upgrade tools, and consumables.
- Introduce Expanded Solutions: Show our current clients products that can further improve their factory efficiency or plant safety.
2. Bringing in New Customers
- Find New Buyers: Explore industrial zones to spot new manufacturing plants, upcoming factory setups, or workshops that need our systems.
- Make First Connections: Walk into, Email or Call new factories, to introduce our company’s product range, and connect with the right decision-makers (like Plant Heads or Purchase Officers).
3. Sales Strategy, Traveling, Deals & Deliveries
- Plan & Strategize: Plan your weekly and monthly sales schedule to ensure maximum territory coverage.
- Field Traveling: Frequently travel within your assigned industrial region to meet clients face-to-face and build strong field relationships.
- Conduct Product Demonstration Sessions: Organise online / offline product demo sessions for existing and / or new / potential customers.
- Create Price Quotations: Review what the customer needs and prepare clear, accurate price offers with support from the Inside Sales Team.
- Negotiate & Close Orders: Discuss discounts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with clients to finalize profitable sales orders.
- Coordinate Deliveries & Payments: Work with our logistics team to ensure items are delivered safely on time, and assist in completing the loop by helping the Accounts Receivable team in payment collection.
4. Customer Support & Problem Resolution
- Handle Product Issues: Act as the first point of contact if a client faces a problem with a delivered item or system.
- Resolve Conflicts Smoothly: Listen patiently to customer complaints regarding delays, wrong parts, or technical glitches, and coordinate with our the relevant OEM’s technical team to have the issue resolved quickly.
- Provide Basic Post-Sale Support: Ensure the client is satisfied with how the product is working and maintain a high level of customer trust.
5. Reporting & Updates
- Daily Sales Logging: Maintain a simple, clear record of your daily calls, client visits, and pending deals.
- Provide Progress Reports: Share regular weekly or monthly sales updates and field feedback with your manager
6. Market Awareness
- Understand the Market Landscape: Observe general industry preferences and note alternative instrumentation or automation setups commonly used across the territory.
- Track Industry Trends: Stay updated on standard market pricing, alternative product features, and common customer preferences in the region.
Key Skills Required for the Role
For Candidates WITH an Engineering Degree (Technical & Sales Skills)
Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech - (Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical)
Technical Product Knowledge: Must have knowledge of Control Valves.
Sales Knowledge: Technical Sales, Engineering Sales, B2B Industrial Sales, Solution Pitching,Product Demonstration.
Years of Experience: Must have at least 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
Salary Range: 25000/- to 35000/-per month +Travelling allowances will be paid separately.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
