Job Purpose
The Store Executive is responsible for effective inventory control, material receipt and issue, documentation, transportation coordination, and smooth store operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and cost control measures..
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, and balances.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile variances.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
2. Material Receipt & Inspection
- Receive materials as per Purchase Order and Delivery Challan.
- Verify quantity, quality, and specifications of incoming materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Quality teams in case of shortages, damages, or rejections.
- Prepare and update GRN (Goods Receipt Note) in ERP/system.
3. Material Issue & Dispatch
- Issue materials against approved material requisitions.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Prepare issue slips, gate passes, and dispatch documentation.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to production/projects.
4. Transportation Management
- Coordinate with transporters for inward and outward material movement.
- Plan and arrange vehicles for material dispatch as per delivery schedules.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and safe transportation of materials.
- Verify transporter bills, freight charges, and supporting documents.
- Track dispatched materials and ensure timely delivery.
- Report transportation delays, damages, or losses to management.
5. Documentation & Records
- Maintain store registers, bin cards, and stock movement reports.
- Update ERP/software/manual records on a daily basis.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, challans, LR copies, and transport documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records.
6. Housekeeping & Safety
- Ensure cleanliness, proper layout, and systematic arrangement of the store.
- Follow safety norms and standard material handling procedures.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and segregation of materials.
- Support implementation of 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Accounts, Logistics and Dispatch department.
- Share inventory status and transportation updates with concerned departments.
- Identify and report slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, or damaged materials.
- Assist management in inventory optimization and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Stores, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Stores, Inventory, or Logistics Operations

- Inventory and stores management knowledge

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
